CA Parag Rathi began his professional journey after qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 2007. With a robust academic foundation comprising a B.Com, LL.B, and a Diploma in International Tax, he has built deep expertise in navigating India's complex tax and regulatory framework.
Before entering private practice, Parag spent over four years with Ernst & Young (EY) in Mumbai and Pune. During this tenure, he managed direct tax litigation, international tax advisory, and compliance for multinational companies and expatriates.
In practice since 2012, CA Parag Rathi has focused extensively on corporate taxation. He serves as an "extended arm of management" for multinational companies, assisting them in setting up and managing their operations in India. He provides comprehensive support to non-resident individuals and corporations looking to establish or expand their business footprint.
With practical experience dealing with various statutory bodies, he supports clients in obtaining critical registrations and permissions, including those from MIDC, MPCB, FSSAI, DIC, and the Directorate of Explosives. His ability to resolve complex tax and legal issues before regulatory authorities makes him a vital asset to the MGCC Pune leadership.
